The 10th Anniversary Kit

Born in Washington in December 2012, the Spirit joined the National Women's Soccer League in its inaugural season. Proudly restoring the legacy established by the Washington Freedom, this kit elevates the history and tradition of women's professional soccer in DC.

The Badge

A star emblazoned above the top of the crest celebrates the club's first NWSL championship in 2021.

The 10 year anniversary patch encompasses the history of the NWSL. We come together with teams across the league to celebrate this important milestone.

We are joined by Ally, the NWSL sleeve sponsor, and the entire roster of national sponsors who shine a light on the players, fans and communities working to grow the game and make a difference, on and off the pitch.

The Community Kit

During the 2022 Challenge Cup, we rally behind our community partners who serve the youth of DC, Virginia and Maryland with the undeniable belief of reaching the top, no matter how big the hurdles.

Our matchday jerseys will be auctioned to raise funds for these organizations who won't be held back from their missions of service.

DC Scores

Founded in 1994, DC Scores is an organization committed to helping DMV-area children experience sports, arts and service as part of a team.

More than 2,800 kids in the nation's capital currently benefit from the work of DC Scores. As the Washington Spirit's community partner, DC Scores is broadening the scope of its work and reaching even more of the DC community.

Using DC Scores' model, America Scores has expanded the program to 12 cities including Los Angeles, New York and Chicago over the last 20 years.

One of the Spirit's founding sponsors is Women and Girls in Soccer, a charitable organization aimed at promoting confidence, strength, character and leadership in women and girls in the DC area through soccer.

Funded each year through the Rael Vodicka Memorial Tournament, WAGS invests in programs like the VA-DC Soccer Hall of Fame, college scholarships, referee certification courses, coaching education, and worldwide outreach to help girls and young women realize their full potential.
